McClinnahan is responsible for the companies day to day operations including managing its existing portfolio while finding other opportunities for the company to manage and acquire. The company was founded by McClinnahan and his former partner Edward Walsh who has since retired from day-to-day duties and acts as an advisor. Under Lavae’s watch, the company has acquired numerous small businesses including restaurants, transportation and logistics, and entertainment brands. In 2019 Colure and Diamond acquired a large stake in a North Carolina auto transport company Montgomery Riles Transport which has since increased its fleet to over 20 vehicles and holds multiple military contracts to transport vehicles across all 50 states of the US. In 2021 The company acquired a stake in a local sports bar in Redondo Beach, Ca called The Speakeasy Tavern, and has since begun the process of growth and expansion.
